I recently picked up these two Sher A Cola bottles. They are in fairly good shape, both need a good cleaning. The clear one has a little damage on the back and a few glass bubbles. I'm assuming these are Coca-Cola knock offs. Both are from Lexington KY. Anybody have a guess as to what the value may be? Also, anyone on her interested in them?

*Thinks* That right there I like. I haven't before seen 'Not to be sold' on a pop bottle. I've only seen that for behind-the-counter alcohol bottles. Only ever found one. Shattered. I had thought they stuck to behind-bar bottles and perhaps in barber shops.

But on the heel, there are numbers. Between the sides and flat base, What do those say? I need to know who made them and if there's a code of sorts on it.

This link tells the entire history of the Sher-A-Coca Bottling Company ...

http://lexhistory.org/wikilex/sher-coca-bottling-company

This is a quote from the article - which I would like to add one more location to ...

"It appears that the company established at least three franchise bottlers, other than the one in Lexington. These included Charleston, South Carolina, Crestview, Florida and Hamilton, Ohio."

Add = Dothan, Alabama
