I hear different things. I’m just starting off at selling bottles. I have my own collection but the bottles I have duplicates of or a bottle I don’t really connect with I sell. Selling helps support my digging (I go through gloves almost daily) lol, so when selling what do most people prefer? Do you prefer a washed bottle? Or dirty? If you prefer clean would you mind/like this sort of thing your bottle? I have hundreds to sell and I’ve washed about half but something told me to stop washing till I found out what the collectors liked (plus my fingers could use a break lol) does this kinda residue ever make a bottle more valuable? Thanks!

If it got a really heavy irridescent multi color rainbow color to it some people like & prefer that. if it's really light not so much. LEON.

thanks for the reply. Would you consider the bottle in the photo I provided to be heavy? Not that that stuff is easy to get off, man I’ve tried vinegar and bleach soaks over night and that stuff STILL won’t budge.

Iridescence like that can't really be cleaned off unless it's professionally removed. I wouldn't worry about it. Collectors are more particular about dirt, dust, or leftover content residue.

Answered my own question realized that's my lawn chair in the back ground. Trinity river really stains some but that one was unusual. I prefer stains like that myself, they make pretty displays.
