Is there any info on how to dates these ?

Can’t find any identical looking ones to help date, lots of similar but different shapes or embossing.

Silverwood's was a major dairy in Ontario at one point so tough to date the jug or id it to a specific city , Horlicks isn't listed in my book so I'm not entirely sure what they sold

in general most embossed milks tend to be from the 30's > 50's

I've got a Horlick's sample like that which is turning purple, so those were being used in the 1910s. I don't know how long they continued for though.

Horlicks sold malted milk, they were a major international brand. Malted milk is a mix of grain and powdered milk which was used as a health drink or mixed with ice cream at soda fountains. It's the stuff inside Whoppers.
