It would be interesting to see it without the green grass behind it, I think it would help see how green it is. That is a great accidental find. Thanks for posting.
At first I thought it might be the grass making it look green, but in the first picture you can see part of it with Scoremaster's fingers behind it which shows that it is indeed quite green.

It's not that it's not green. I have seen them green. It's just how green. Shades of color are important

I Went To Google And Put Down Old Hires Extract Bottles And They Put Down A lot f Their Old Extract Bottles Some Were Green And Made In !920's Along with Some Prices

Good Morning Everyone

I found a light green bottle while i was fishing on the river yesterday ....Its seems to be about 4 inches high
and sayes Hires extract for home use , has a non screw mouth on it . Has # 43 on the bottom .
Is there a way to find out how old it is .

Hi scoremaster,
Check see if the seam line goes thru the li,.If it does it's made after 1904.The number is more than likely a form number used for that bottle..An extract bottle was used on some food extract bottles but seems to small for that.I think it might be a medicine bottle.
