The attached bottle seems to clearly be a molded amber American snuff bottle. It has bubbles in the glass and an applied top suggesting pre-1900. The problem I am having in identifying the bottle is the embossed bottom. It has a pair of spectacles (or pince-nez) with a chain. The chain seems to spell out Ko or Ho. Does anyone know what this logo refers to? ThanksJerry

I don't think so. Eyewash bottles are generally blue and round and this has the construction and look of a snuff bottle.

I was going the path less taken. Bon-Opto was a square and clear bottles and all the Collyrium Wyeth bottles are square but yes, cobalt. Those are the two that came to mind.

It certainly has the typical shape of a snuff bottle / jar but I have to kind of go with Eric and recommend researching some more. I've seen 100s of similar shaped bottles but never the base embossing. Also, the shuffs have a much shorter neck, actually none. Jim
