so ive been frightened to ask this question because i fear i will cry

last year i dug an 8 sided umbrella ink pontil scar with titcomb embossed on it. I see one like it on the web that is 12 sided and is considered rare and goes for 500-1000 bucks. Is my 8 sided one rarer......and the kicker is that the top is missing off mine

A MINT one sold in the Watt White auction, 1996 - 97 for $500. Estimated at $100. That listing at 12 sided MAY be an error. Jim

A mint 8 sided one would fall in that same price range. Bloody rare ink, but there are a few of them around. Jim G

Sorry if my post was confusing, the ink in the Watt White auction was 8 sided, Jim / Basil W. Duke stated he spotted a 12 sided bottle on the web. Jim
