While metal detecting around an old house in Louisiana, I noticed where one of the siding boards had pulled loose and I could see a couple bottles on the inside. I managed to retrieve them, and one was a 7Up bottle and the other I had never heard of before. It was a Try Me cola (I guess that as when I cleaned it the residue inside appeared to be brown). The bottle says "Bottled in New Orleans", and "Try Me" as the name embossed on the bottle. Anyone ever herd of this before?

I'm guessing some workers left the bottles there when the house was under construction.

The Brown 7-up a nice find, you don't see the brown ones to often. LEON.

P.S. If you find a nice Tiger or Rosalie Beer Can in those Floor boards/walls I'll give you $10k.

You have any pics? I gotta see what a 10k beer can looks like.

I’d love to see more pics of the 7up bottle. What is the writing on the back and any markings on the bottom. Great find!

Could I possibly get a explanation of the Try Me comment. I really don't know much about bottles.
