And before I say anything else, may it be known I swear that book of colorized pictures for America's new 1890s possessions just doesn't want to stay on the desk. *Heard it crash down yet again.* I swear they made it so there is not much in the way of friction. Lol. Antique books have their own character.
Anyway, as I leave it lay on the floor where it won't fall down for the tenth time (Its not gonna blow to pieces, as I had repaired it as is one of my hobbies,) Ill start this thread:
A while ago, I made trade for these first two ACLs. "Barr's / FLAVOR DESIGNATED ON CROWN CAP / DRINK / [Cub peeking from behind tree] / CONTENTS 8 FL. OZS / BARR'S SODA / HARDWICK BOTTLING WORKS / HARDWICK VERMONT" on front. On back, "Barr's / Insist on - / [Giant "B" for next three words] arr's / etter / everages / CONTAINS CARBONATED FILTERED SPRING / WATER; CITRIC ACID; CERTIFIED COLOR; / SUGAR AND NATURAL FLAVORS." Base: "G" in square for Glenshaw Glass Company. "67 / 681 / 3" It's my first or second favorite ACL now next to the third bottle. Condition: 9.5 out of 10.

Number two: Front ACL reads, "WB / Werbelow's / [Knight blowing trumpet upon horse--"S" on shield I assume for Shawano] / BEVERAGES / BOTTLED BY / WERBELOW BEVERAGES, INC. / SHAWANO, WIS. 54166"-- Yes, that is the city's zip-code-- "/ CONTENTS 7 FL. OZS." Back: "WB / DRINK / Werbelow's / Delicious- / -Sparkling / Beverages / . / ALL FLAVORS/ CONTENTS: CARBONATED WATER. SUGAR. / COLORING. FLAVOR ADDED. 1/10 OF 1% / BENZOATE OF SODA ADDED." Base: "6 94 / [Unintelligible marks] / 7 (I) 70 / 4 11."-- my most modern bottle save for one.
Condition: 8 out of 10. Barr's: Blue on white.Werbelow's: Black boxes, then black on orange. L'akieview: Red on white. Yes, it is with an apostrophe. Bottled by Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg Yes, I had to Google it because I didn't feel like spelling a 45-letter-long name. Lol. Shortened, it's known as Webster's Lake. That whole big circle of words on the back of the green bottle-- that is the lake's name spelled out.

Thanks for being the only responder and for giving the compliment, Red. It's always pleasing to see you around. But, Red, I don't know if the e-mail ever got through, but I do have one for you-- recall? A turn-mold? Also, by 'rrecule,' did you mean 'recycle'? If so, please don't recycle embossed bottles. Goodwill, Hope's Outlet, a yard-sale, members here-- someone would take them.

Tyler, in the center of my first post it says, "I made trade for these first two ACLs." I like them as well-- especially the Barr's as the first Bear-on-ACL bottle I ever saw I could not get; a forum member here traded me two bottles for two bottles-- thanks. Lol.
