Here's some pics of a site I've been exploring and some of finds which will give you an idea of how varied the dump site is. The vast range of years for the finds is quite large. You see some from the 1860s and some from around 1940s & 1950s. I also found some hutches and blob top beers.

Sure, I'll post them today. The live dig is on YouTube "Epic Bottle Find Day" Under the pseudonym "Bottle Hawk". Some may question the finds and I just want them to know it isn't fudged.

Hemihampton - here's a group shot of the bottles. I also had a blank slug plate and a "SLS" Liebman and Sons blob tops that I did not include. Both are really ultra-common here.

Nice finds. I subcribed and I watch all your videos. Give gunner a scratch on the head. He is a good boy. I live at exit 168 in N.J. . lots of trash in all the woods that have not been developed. I am looking at a site over on the first branch of the passaic river. In garfield there is Post ford monument. A ford that washigton's army escaped the british who were in pursute. Washington's army destroyed The acquackanonk bridge. The water was high from resent rains and the british and hessians were forced to wait 3 days until the river dropped. When they left the residents of Garfield said the british and hessian soldiers were very rude and that they were glad to see them leave. Nothing yet but who knows. I have found some but no revolutionary period artifacts.

Thank you for watching the vids and your subscription. I'm at exit 105 of the GSP. You're way up there by Hillsdale?

Those are some nice clean hutches and blobs for being dug IMo. I rarely see them coming out so clean even after a good soaking

I know, it does looks rather suspicious, but I do have them on video being dug. It's on my YT channel. They were only about 4"-6" below the surface and I think that spared them from serious staining or glass corrosion. All-in-all it was a very good day for me. I only use soap, water, bottle brushes and copper wire bits to clean them. At this particular site, I have not found anything that has been stained... very, very, fortunate for me.

Helps to have sandy soil like you slugplate and if the bottle is bottom up they are usually pretty clean. Lot of rock by me. Too close to rockland county.
