Please can anyone identify this jar. It it is 7 3/4” tall. The base is marked J L & Co (John Lumb) Registration Applied For/088LH6.
The glass in its base is uneven. What did it hold?

I'm gonna guess flowers, uncle Bill's remains, or pickles. Just messing, it has the shape of some old pickle jars.
