couldn't find the pit we were after, but it turned out to be a decent day.

1890's pit is still better than a sharp stick in the eye.....

4 tall blobs, all in good shape.

two Zerbey's from Summit Hill, a P.H. Rader from Chunk and
a National Bottling Co from Wilkes-Barre and a weiss beer looking
O. O. Trone from S. Bethlehem.

a bunch of hutches. two different Siegfrieds from Chunk, a damaged Skinner from Lehighton, a Weissport Bottling Works. we dug a philly hutch and one from York Haven, wherever that is.

this Knickerbocker hutch from Chunk is the find of the day. real nice
shape and a huge thick base of glass. these are hard to come by.

and a McCaffery from Nesquehoning. this one has a small pressure crack in the head.

these are scarce. heading back in a few days to give finding the older pit another try...

Lots of hutches! nice. We dug a few Bethlehem hutches at that dump forgot to take pix.

Next weekend me and Badger are hitting a pit in coal town. 1850 we will see how it goes.

The hutches were some of the bottles I liked to dig the best . Od course I was always hoping for some killer bottles as well when I was digging . You had a great day , I can live with that kind of digging any day .
