This bottle was found in a wall between the floor joists in a house built in 1902 . Has original betts & co seal and cork intact. Also with what I think is small amounts of the whiskey in it. Wondering how rare it is to have a Ik seal on a bottle in the USA. Also would the date of the bottle be 1902 with only thing on the bottom is the single digits 2 on it? It's very intriguing to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you might get much more response if you posted again in the "Digging and Finding" forum.

Apparently, Talyor and Williams was a common product and widely distributed--I've dug the same bottle in a western Washington sawmill site that dated turn-of-the-20th century.

A bit of carpentry trivia: The fact that you state "This bottle was found in a wall between the floor joists..." tells me that the house was ballon framed--common for the era--rather than platform framed.
