I found this bottle in the Great south bay last week over by the Fire Island Lighthouse on Long Island NY. The area has been settled for a long time and this bottle definitely looks like its come from that long ago. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Age, value, history?

That's a really cool find! Not a lot of etched bottles like that from the US. The bottle itself is British and probably dates to around 1910. Very odd that Schultz would have used UK bottles like that, I wonder if he etched his name into whatever bottles he could scrounge up for free or cheap in New York.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. Yeah. I have no idea. I was swimming and dug it out from the sand. What can you tell me about Shultz N.Y.? Or can you direct me to someone who may know more? How do you know its British?
