Hello! This bottle came into my possession along with a couple other small antique items.
I have researched it but have not found any evidence of it on line.
Maybe someone here could you help me learn more about it, please?
Here's what we have to go on:

- All text is raised
- Clear glass, has a few bubbles.
- Thatcher (Big T with a smaller M and C on either side.)
- Underneath that it has "11" along the base.
- Round bottom
- One seam -- I believe it goes all the way through but it is hard for me to tell.
- Exactly 5 1/2" tall
Front reads:
This bottle property of and filled by
Victor Mey Co
Chicago Ill.
- Numbers 126 are along the base
On the back it says:
- Half Pint
- Sealed
The bottom has the number 24 and a larger "C" inside a circle, slightly off center.

I've gotten as fart as I am able. Thanks for your help!

All I can tell you is it's a Milk Bottle. Or some might say some kind of Dairy Product most likely made by a Dairy Company or Dairy Farm. Milks are typically that shape & commonly made by Thatcher. Hope this Helps. LEON.

P.S. Welcome to the Site.

Here's a bit of info about Victor Mey: Looks like it was a pretty large operation based out of Huntley. I guess he located his bottling plant out there to be closer to the dairy farmers, usually those big operations were headquartered in urban areas with milk shipped in from dairy farms outside the city.

Here's a picture of the bottling plant: http://www.idaillinois.org/digital/collection/p16614coll24/id/34/

I would assume your bottle is from 1924 if that number is a date code, which it probably is. It would line up with his dates of operation.
