The Cellar Hole.

A Friend of mine Ted, got permission to dig a Root Cellar behind a 1870's house. We didn't dig to much because we were a little unprepared with no 5 Gallon Buckets to haul the dirt out. But, we did find Bottles, Lots of Slicks & common Bottles, only a few Keepers. The small & tall Masons was cool. Best find was a City Bottling works from Ann Arbor, Ted was a little to ruff in the dirt & we suspect he may of knocked it's top off. LEON.

Found a Marx Brewing from Wyandotte & Muskegon Brewing from Muskegon. The Common FOSS from Boston. Ect., Ect., LEON.

I asked Ted if you knocked Top off see if you can find it, he looked around awhile & nothing, I figured it got tossed to the back in the reject shard pile. BUT, Then he said I think I found it. Sure enough, fit like a missing Puzzle Piece. Good as New? LEON.

Cleaned up well, bottom left in the group pic has some nice iridescence.

How tough is this Mason Jar, it's a small one & odd thing is it only has the 58 for the Date not the usual 1858. What's it worth? is it Rare? LEON.

Jar is referred to as a midget - this one books at 75-100 with the lid
