I had been watching this great Hutch all week: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Moxie-Soda-Bottle-Blue-Color-/201037675479?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=F6BKzz%252Bbk%252BRLM2c8Dt%252Fu673NdIo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc There were not half as many bidders as the one last week from the Union Maine Collection. I wanted this one real bad. I put a bid in 3 seconds left. I'm pretty sure it said I won, then when it was over I didn't win. I was really confused and really upset. It was an awesome price and I liked this style better then the other one. I'm never going to own one of these I feel. However the good news to yesterday was I did get my Ted's Creamy Root Beer bottle in the AM. I bought it on eBay, the seller was awesome. The shape could be a little bit better but hey I gave him a number and he took me up on the offer. I have been wanting one of these since I was a kid when I found out Ted's Creamy Root Beer did exist. Here's the bottle:

I am still looking for an A+ version though. Thanks guys. The journey continues for the elusive Moxie Hutchinson and another Bojuma Farm bottle as well as the SR Howland Dairy in Acoaxet I'm looking for. haha.

I'll buy them hahah that's nuts. I want a crate so bad. They're great bottles. I believe it was bottled for 2-4 years not exactly sure. I'm almost positive they ended it in 1957 I'll have to check my Moxie bibles. I'll post mine when I get to it. As for the Hutch, I think I'm screwed. The price it went for was amazing. I kind of stole your title of your thread Bob lol I didn't realize that until I had posted it hahahha.

JDMoxie, I'm willing to bet that Ted's bottle will clean up close to A+. Just looks like dirt/grime on the ACL.

This is the third trial. It keeps shutting me off. While I am in New York this summer, I have thirty or forty large store display bottles I would like to sell. I worked with three OI plants on a three stage bottle machine making some of them, and got fascinated with the concept - and collected them. I know there are several whiskey bottles, one Coca-Cola, and one perfume. i will get them listed when I get up there. At 85 getting close to 86 - it is time to sell them. I can use some money anyway I can get it. More on this later = my wonderful better half is calling me for lunch. RED Matthews

Just an FYI, I have never missed a snipe bid as long as I bid with 5 or more seconds left. Any sooner and the processing time can delay your bid, which ebay might receive milliseconds after the auction ends. Best of luck in the future though!
