Dug this J.H. Westendorf, Say's the Weather Flag Druggist? What's a Weather Flag Druggist? Anybody see this one before or familiar with it? LEON.

A weather flag is like a big sock with a hole in the toes, it shows the winds direction. My guess is that there was a weather flag in town and the druggist was located next to or under it and took the name. it would a local bottle so a little research locally to the town would dig up the answer...

Found out John Westondorf was on Mt. Clemens School board in late 1890's & was Mayor of Mt. Clemens in 1905 & also a Pharmacist. Busy man. Mt. Clemens is near the water & lots of boats in the area. LEON.
