Recently while looking for bottles I came across something heavy that never became any bottles. This glass slag "rock" weighs in at 38.2 pounds. I had to get help to bring it out of the woods. Also I used a convenient nearby milk crate to make it easier to get it off the steep hillside. The rock is translucent but not see-through. So I don't believe it came from the local Anchor Hocking factory. Plus it was on the wrong side of the river for that. It must have come from somewhere else. I recall that there was an American Wire Glass factory in Dunbar, PA long ago. So that is a possibility. Anyhow I hope you enjoy the photos. Now I have to decide what to do with this ha ha.

Here is the milk crate I had to use to carry the glass, as it was rather heavy and dangerous.
