So I kinda found this lil dump across the st from the grandmother in laws house, which just had to be replaced after hurricane Laura put a tree through the house she's lived in for 50+ yrs. The hurricane laid over hundreds of huge trees all along the lake bank! This particular bottle is what drew my interest to this spot, as it was in the middle of a big root structure of one of these trees, right about eye level! This wasn't the biggest tree, but definitely no baby, so the bottle had to be there a while for this big of a tree to grow on top. As I looked around, there were probably twenty of these clear whiskey bottles half buried, under the leaves, however this was the only one that had the threads on top of what looks like a cork top! All the others were just cork top?? Any ideas what kind of bottle I'm looking at, or why only this one had a threaded closure on top??
