The last year I dag this small acqua blob top bottle. It's 7 1/8 inches tall.
Like most of the buried bottles it had soil encrusted and stains so I soaked it in watet to clean later.
I didn't see any label but some inverted letters and though a newspaper or magazine transferred some of its ink to the glass
It was really amazing when the clean water unveiled a label on the glass surface.
Most of the remnants of the label are those characters that were pressed on the back side in order to being read from the opposite side across the bottle.
Now these remnants are covered by a transparent burnish cover.
My next step is to polish the rest of the bottle.
