Spent 3 hours today digging today and I'm shot. Not in the photos was an enormous amount of car parts, metal, cement and bricks. Tough dig, but fun. The pics in order, a 3 gallon crock, broken up chamber pot, 1926 NJ license plates, and a milk glass trumpet... what it held is anyone's guess. The dump is the right time frame for a 1915 or a Christmas Coke and I'm hoping to unearth a few.

Good stuff! I have a Huntington WV 1915 Pat. I think those are pretty rare. You're definitely in the right time frame. Wouldn't it be just too cool if you found a straight side? I love those things.

Nice find on the trumpet! It's a candy container, but not a design that I've ever seen before. As a general rule, ABM bottles/jars shaped like things are candy containers 90% of the time.

It really was a surprise find for me. I'm amazed it survived intact for over eighty years the dump contents range in age from teens - 40s. The vast majority is 20s stuff though.

I was thinking the exact same thing about a SS Coke or Pepsi when I was digging!

Looks like a lot of fun. I have not been able to dig in over year. Girlfriends and I love to dig even if we dont get anything great. We still find marbles, stoppers, doll parts, small cute bottles, etc. We have been doing a lot of fossil/sharks teeth hunting mostly.
