Found this beer a couple of decades ago and couldn't get the interior clean. Removed the label and put it on the bottle cleaning machine. Now it is restored and looking good. nfs

I think I'm missing something, it had a label and it was embossed to.
All bottles had labels to identify the contents. Embossing was only used to identify who the bottle belonged to. The bottlers wanted their bottles back and didn't want other bottling companies using them after they had paid for them. Bottles were not cheap. I have dozen of embossed bottles with their original labels.

I did not know that. Any new members That's why this is the best site to be on, you're not going to get any better information.

Does that help with dating a bottle.

Hi Jake2150,
A couple of nice old bottles you have there. The tumbling makes all the difference in the world. If you're happy with them like that, great,,, if you want to get them even better, I would put them back in with the Jar Doctor's All Purpose compound for 2 or 3 days. ( just adding my 2 cents). Roy

When he said 2 days in polish maybe that was with Jar Doctots All Purpose. I think you meant All Purpose Polish as Compound is more course? LEON.
