Found a perfectly preserved twitchell this morning. ..is this the correct thread for this post??

Very nice find. I would have posted this under digging and finding but either way Twitchell was a pioneer. Always enjoyed the hat top that Twitchell uses. You can spot them from across the room. Can you tell if it iron pontil or not??

Wow, If you just dug that that's a nice find. gotta be around 1860's give or take 10 tears. Nice time frame to be finding stuff. Even though the Twitchells are common not sure I seen one with that exact same top. Wherever you found that I'd be digging for more, you might come up with some cobalt bottles. Congrats on a nice find. LEON.

Thanks. It is a rather common bottle, I found it in a dirt pile near the old dyottville glassworks underneath i95 which is being excavated and expanded.
