Type of condiment bottle?

Anyone know what type of condiment this bottle contained.
Found by friend,my guess was pepper sauce or ketchup.
Google,ebay and Etsy search didn't provide any matches.
Guessing 1939 on bottom is actual date

Looks like ketchup, though I've never seen one with that design before.

Finally found one on eBay,Ann Page ketchup. Must not have made too many,I had never saw one either.
