There were about 30 bottles total. Several milks, several 1920s-30s Ball and Atlas Jars, an old Lea and Perrins. Most I won't keep but here are a few i may put on a shelf. The first two are olive green and I assume are ale bottles. They're almost identical. No seam and raised bottom. Second is an amber beer bottle with no embossing except for the #1 on bottom. Third is this very sick A.B.C. Co. Bottle. I may tumble it just to see how clean the tumbler can do on a bottle in this bad of shape. Next is a F.H.G.W. bottle. I assume another beer bottle? And my favorite the Schlitz beer bottle. Made by W.F. & S. Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sorry about pics. I didn't realize they were so blurry.

Are the olive green bottles civil war era? Earlier or later?
Doesn't look like it to me. They look very similar to 1890s-ish UK liquor/beer bottles. The second one looks a bit different, maybe American, could be a bit older but I'd be pretty surprised if it was from the 1860s.

Ok. Thanks. I'm still new to this. If it doesn't have embossing I can't look it up and really just guessing at age. Slowly learning and leaning on you guys for info.

Really that's what we're all doing when it comes to unembossed bottles, but with experience the guesses become more educated.
