Anyone know what these jars contained? Pickles? I don't see them around too often, any idea on how common they are? Eagle and shield embossing is interesting.

I'd have to guess just about anything that could be preserved could be had in these jars..

No idea, but that's a sweet lookin' bottle!

I am fairly sure these were pickle bottles.Perserving companies made vinegars,also olives.But this has the look of pickle about it.I have one and its in the cabinet with the rest of my pickles.
