Recently dug these bottles. Except for coming out of the same hole in Lexington, Ky, they appear to me to be unrelated. That's a "Beach & Clarridge/ Boston, Mass" 1/2 gal jar on the left; a "J M Wilson/ Newport News, Va" seltzer; and a "USA Med'l Dept" on the right. The hole was 8' deep and must have sunk a lot as the first 4' contained a lot of metal, broken stone ware ect. The seltzer and USA were in this fill. The jar was in the use layer near the bottom. I found JM Wilson hutch's. Anyone have info on seltzer? And Jar was listed in qt, but what about 1/2 gal?

Thanks for the RB update, mine is very old (no. 6).There were a few keepers: green Piso, cobalt Lactopeptine, jug with missing handle, 2 gal gray crock with lip chips and hairline. And a lot of slicks.
