I found these in an old abandoned cottage about 25 years ago, they were fairly moldy at the time, so we washed them up as best as we could.
Needless to say, I have no clue what they were used for or anything else about them. I didn't look at the bottom of every single bottle, but it seems like they are numbered differently. 1,2,3, 4 and 5 possibly even higher. (single digits) The plastic (Bakelkite?) cap has a foil seal, I am not sure when they started using foil in bottles.
They are an inch wide, 1 and 7/8 inches tall, and 1/2 inch thick. The caps are 1/2 inch thick also.

If anyone has any idea, I would appreciate some info.

Thanks

Thanks for your replies, I wasn't sure what they were used for. They are about as plain and boring as you can get.
