Hello All,
Gerhart Recker listed as soda manufacturer in 1888 Vincennes City directory.I purchased the pony in the photo and a hutch not shown so along with the amethyst crown that I didn't buy it makes me think the family was in business for quite a few years. I made an offer on what was described as the purple bottle and explained how I felt it achieved it's color but their opinion of value differed from mine. I paid what I consider a fair price on the pony which is marked A&D HC,I can't tell from photo but it may have iron pontil scar.
