Hi, I have a blue cobalt violin bottle which I know are common but my bottle has the trade mark with the #5 in it, off centered. Instead of being stamped on the bottom of the bottle, it runs partially up the side of the bottle. Does this ruin the bottle?

That oval thing is called a suction scar, and it being off-centred doesn't ruin the bottle. It's very weird to see one so off-centre though, I don't think I've ever seen that to such an extreme degree.

I have that decanter and mine is missing the stopper, too.
