Has anyone ever seen a bottle with a lip like this. It looks like a wave

It appears to be one of the crown cap types which can be opened by inserting the edge
of a coin between the cap and the ledge then twisting the coin to lever the cap off.

would you guess an age or if what type of bottle it was. Perhaps beer or something else

It has the base ring from the early automatic bottle machine, so I would think that it is a defective blow. Probably not quite enough glass. I have never seen one like it. Is the top symmetrical, like it was done that way on purpose?
