The back heel of the bottle...

Wayne Bottling Works from Goldsboro, NC. Most of the mans bottles sat outside for years. And it showed in this case. Bottle has turned a nice SCA.

Knowing nothing about these I must say that I love the embossing on the first one...Jim

I have never seen a SS Coke embossed like the Dannenberg. Very sharp!

I see you are from Goldsboro. I actually got these from an auction in Goldsboro. Lots of bottles from Goldsboro there including two amber Pepsi's. They had two of the Coke bottles like mine. The better one went for $200+ and it was more of a purple color. This one has a fisheye on the heel and a quarter inch chip on the side. Got it for $50. They usually sell for over $300 on ebay in good condition.

It was in burgaw right? Thought about going to it but my tires are really bald. They got to last 2 more weeks to when I get the new ones, so I didn't want to chance it. Heard it was a big auction. Nice pick-ups.

If it were the one in Burgaw, what were these? Or shall I ask "Was there anything 'good' in this pile.". I was at the Aiken show as was the Evil J.W...........that surprised me. I would have thought he might would have made it there.

Damaged one brought $500 and the perfect one brought $875. Nice looking bottle.
