WERT?

found a couple of aqua strait side bottles with WERT embossed in a watermelon shape slug plate.that is the only embossing other than this bottle not........both bottles had the tops missing so i dont know if they were crown top or blob top.they were kind of thick and heavy which makes me think blob top, but i am not sure.they were found in s.c.anyone know anything about these?

yea, i seen those on ebay.not sure but i dont think those are connected to the ones i found.the ones i found are pre 1920 i would say and no location embossed on them.not sure if they were blob or crown top

Could just be an earlier version of these since the watermelon shape embossing seems to carryover to these ACL's...ACL's didn't start until the late 30's
