New to my collection is a Wetter & Mehrkens soda bottle. I am showing the bottle as I purchased it and again after 5 days in the tumbler. Herman Wetter & William Mehrkens were only in business together from 1873 to 1876 so the bottle dates to that timeframe. The bottle has a glass makers mark of W. McC & Co. This would be for William McCully & Co. of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Complete set up was just at $800.00 Sounds expensive, but its part of my hobby of botte collecting now. Before I acquired the machine I probably wouldn't have purchased the Wetter & Mehrkens bottle, believing I could not clean it very well. But I am happy with the results and just recently purchased about a dozen bottles that are waiting in line to be tumbled.
