All I know for sure is the obvious -- it was a product of Hagan & Dodd. My only lead is a newspaper article about Red Rock sales that says Red Rock of Jacksonville was a producer of "Purity Brand Soluble Extracts." A search for "Purity Brand Soluble Extracts" yields nothing but that one newspaper, though. A search in the Atlanta Journal archive has mention of "Purity Brand" as being beverages.

Was it bottles of syrup for sodas or something? Is that what's meant by extracts?

Yeah it was probably concentrate for either soda fountains or home bottling (like those Hires root beer extract bottles) which was also sold as pre-made soda in bottles.
