What is this unusual bottle I have? ...any info pls

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to this forum and I'm seeking for any info. that you may give me regarding this bottle/decanter that I have. I have attached the pic. of it. It is abt 7 1/2" tall; 5" wide(measured across not around the widest part of the body); and its base is abt 3 1/4". It is a little greenish and quite heavy for it's size. thanks.

Welcome to the forum,Desertquest!
You have there a decanter that once had a ground-glass stopper.Even if there is a pontil,it would be difficult to determine it's age.You might get lucky browsing the online cataloges of the major auction houses like Christie's,Skinner,Sotheby's,etc.
