I recently bought two directories from my local area that are very tough to come by from the years 1931 and 1900. In these are lists of every person, business and street in the towns of the area. Also included are old maps of the areas. I think that if you were able to find an article with the name of an individual who was mentioned to have a dump nearby you could pinpoint the dump location. Also I can identify the old soda and milk bottlers as well as druggists and where they had lived. Is their any other tips for reaserching potential dig spots and or just bottles in these old directories?
