What's going on here?????

Check out this Hutchinson I bought on E-bay. Notice anything strange with the bidding? It looks like This Guy Alslager and Stoncaninq where up to some shilling or bid fixing. Both have lost their E-bay memberships. Take a look at Alslager feedback.

I'm somewhat new to E-bay and bottle collecting and I have always wondered how much funny business goes on with bottle bids on E-bay.
Jfcutter is a member of this forum and I'm sure didn't have anything to do with this. I bid against him all the time on Oregon bottles. I think maybe he reported these guys. I was going to but forgot too. Also I was happy with the price and the bottle.

Maybe nothing was going on and I am just paranoid I don't know.

BTW> The bottle is really nice with great whittle and color. The base chips are barely noticeable. I love it.

You are correct , JFcutter is a known good collector.
Dont know what was up with that seller's account,seems a bit odd.
Usually when there is money business its on expensive items.

Yeap JFcutter is on the up and up. The other guy has nothing but good feed back so it 's probably just a snafu of some kind.

Take a look at Alslager feedback Warren. Check out feedback left for others over 100 feedbacks to Stonecantinq. Also look at the bidding patterns, 4 bid withdraws, every six months a round of bidding then nothing. Just enough time for the bid withdraws to clear.
I still think something was up.

I buy form the same folks quite often too. Maybe just a careless or cautious buyer. Maybe just not bright. But you also could be right, could be something wrong.
Both names could be the same person just trying to run up the price.

You won a great lookin bottle at a good price.
