Here's another New Bedford bottle I can remember digging as a kid at West Barnstable on Cape Cod. Tryed to go back and see if this spot was still there when we went to West Island last summer but never made it over there. I can remember sitting in poison ivy (didn't get it at the time) digging these bottles! I did get down in a construction pit in New Bedford but only came away with a couple of named bricks. With it's whaling history this would make one great bottle town. Next I'll put up a pick of the embossing which includes a Nar? whale (unicorn like spike) over a seltzer bottle. And a pic of the back which has the full date 1907, also found one with 1912. Worth noting is that both these dated bottles have applied crown tops. Also its SCA.
