Cool bottle and all but if they were made for 18 years, even if only used at the ballpark, you would think they wouldn't be soooooo rare....I need to do some research now....

"The White Sox were the first team to make soda in the ballpark during the teens and early '20s. That's where orange soda was invented. The first time it was manufactured was in Old Comiskey Park. They came in little eight-ounce bottles. Very thick glass with two crossed bats, a baseball in the middle and "W" and "S" for White Sox on them."

I gotta call bullpucky on the highlighted. Orange Soda existed long before they were bottling it in this ball park. I'm looking at a 1909 ad from the Dixie Bottling Works of Bristol, VA that lists all of the flavors they bottle and there it is Orange. The guy is a baseball broadcaster what does he know about the history of soda, most likely repeating some local legend.

His description of the bottle doesn't match the one on ebay: that one has a sock not a baseball embossed.
