I got this square amber milk bottle a while back. Acl Winnisquam farms from Waterbury, Vermont. 1959. Amber glass protects milk flavor. Nice and clean example.

I like milk bottles are okay but I love the green ones and the brown ones if I was a milk collector I'd half to have a lot of those

Nice bottle. Gotta wonder what drove the name of the dairy as Winnesquam is a lake in New Hampshire.

They had a winnisquam dairy in the capital of Vermont, Montpelier. I found little information on this dairy. Waterbury historical has some bottles and a couple of receipts from the farm but that's it as far as I know.

Absolutely pure is a modern fantasy bottle. They are available in a bunch of colors. Here are a few real USA greens. I'm still hunting for the hard to find ones. :)

I never saw such colored milk bottles. I like the green ones, no doubt. I can't stop looking at the red and what color is that orange? Never seen any milk bottles like those. I am floored! What a incredible display. What is your personal favorite? Thanks for the reply and great picture.

I started off collecting New Zealand amber milks. The red quart is a Borden's. The top two rows in the last picture are mostly Australian. Here is a recent picture of my collection. Obsessed? Maybe. :)

Wow, that is obsessed! Great obsession. I don't blame you, they are very desirable. I have ten or so milk bottles. I love this site. Would love to see you make a post of this amazing collection. If you have already, I apologize.

What a great display utilizing natural sunlight. Ever worry about them being in the sun like that? I keep my shades drawn, mostly for security reasons but also to keep the direct sun off of them. I guess you never have, maybe I am just worrying unnecessarily. I love the way you can see outside past the bottles.
