This thing is all messed up, but it does appear to have been in the making, and not after a fire or something. Looks like someone was learning, maybe, when they blew this one? Neat. This is certainly one you'd like to have in your hand so that you could tell better what is going on with it. I assume that there is like a gigantic glob of a bird-swing over on that right seam (in the picture above). Crazy crude whatever it is!

Hi all; It sure looks like a bird swing was made in this one. It could just be a spike that was pulled and broke loose and laid on the one side. I would sure like to have it in my collection.
The inks with an off-set neck had a lot of bird swing problems because the parison had to be laid on it's side in the mold. I am sure they had to make a lot of the molds so the body and neck were on an angle. I know that when we made a duck bottle for Avon we had to do that on an ABM job, to get the parison to stay apart.
