which magazine do you think has higher circulation?

I'd also say AB&GC but Bottles & Extras is a great magazine,its just as good,if not better than AB&GC,I plan on getting a subscription next year. The only downside to it is that its bi-monthly.

Its bi monthly? I didn't know that. How much is it $ ?

Here is my story from "Bottles & Extras" It came out awesome!

I really like the way they laid the story out. I like the magazine,I think I will order it.

I am sure a lot of you have seen most of these pictures,but not all of them. The story is altogether different.


Maybe I will write about summer digging next. "Hot town summer in a privy" [8D]

I don't think I will post any more of my story's on here anymore. Its just a waste of my typing. I get more of a positive response on FB and they are not even bottle people. Word

"Bottles and Extras" is not a magazine that you subscribe to, it is one of the benefits you receive when you join the Federation Of Historical Bottle Collectors organization. By joining this non-profit organization, you are supporting the bottle hobby in many ways, as well as getting a great bi-monthly magazine that offers one free 'Wanted" or "For Sale" ad per year. I am a little surprised to see that some of the contributors to this site, who seem to be very avid bottle collectors/diggers and very passionate about the hobby, have very little knowledge about the Federation and the magazine it produces. I personally feel that anyone who is a passionate bottle collector/digger should do the following, in order of importance: Join a local bottle club (if one exists), attend and support Antique Bottle shows, join the FOHBC, and subscribe to any bottle magazines that are currently in publication. There is more to this hobby than just digging and buying bottles! My intent with this post is not to offend anyone, and I appologize now if I have. Just my observation after being in this hobby for over 45 years.

It say's on the site 30 $ a year for the mag. So is that the price to join the (FOHBC)? I subscribed to AB&GC for years I think I will join since I will probable submit more story's in the future.
