Just recently came into possession of this Whistle Bottle. Says WHISTLE BOTTLING CO HOUSTON TEX on the bottom. (The N is reversed) Wondering if anyone can give me any information about the bottle or the logo. I'm wondering if the logo is C L Grigg's intitials. I'm assuming it was paper label...
I'm reading Grapette started marketing Lymette in 1963, However, Lymette never achieved the popularity of the other flavors., does anyone know how many years the product was sold?
Always a fan of the "Creepy Elf" Frostie Bottles. Three sizes 7, 10 and 12 oz. All 1958, possibly the only year they had this design. I have six of these bottles they're all 1958.
Heavy 7oz. Only one I've ever seen. Has a Knox Glass Makers Mark with a J in the middle for Jackson, Mississippi. Also sports a 33-B-7 in the middle of the bottom with a six in the six o'clock position. I'm thinking it's a 1947?
Here are some pictures of the bottle that started this tread. These shots are after @justonebottle gave the bottle a thorough cleaning. It is truly a beautiful bottle and is in excellent shape! The bottom of the bottle is just too illegible for me to read. It's the only one I've ever seen.
