I was suspect of the Belle Isle factory, I live nearby and didn't think it could have been there. Interesting that it was during prohibition, way before my time. Thanks for the information.
That's interesting. I have found a lot of sites that have bulldog ginger beer with bottles, jars and cans from all ages but found nothing with this particular bottle. There was one site that mentioned a manufacturer from Belle Isle, Detroit but the bottles were green with a white label.
I picked up this bottle today. It has on it Wolverine Bottling Works, Detroit, Mich. On the other side is A Genuine English Ginger Beer and a Bulldog on each side. I have only been able to determine it is Bulldog genuine ginger beer. Does anyone know when was this produced?
