Wow awesome example... I just posted something a few mins ago and I said to the effect of this community is a great school for me... People such as you take your time and explain things untill I understand them and I can't thank you enough... So when did they start making "acl" bottles?
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated... Through people in this community I am acquiring so much knowledge it's amazing... Best school ever, thank you everyone for the help you give me... Please forgive me for the poor quality of pictures but I am still learning how to take pictures in...
Ya I knew that it wasn't very old because of the seam but the embossing on it is cool and I was curious of when that bottle might have been made and nhpharm answered my question... What's crazy is a bottle made in 1930 is almost 100 years old... That makes me feel old
Are you a writer? That's a serious question...also I feel like this post I'm responding to got cut off or something and I didn't get to read everything you wrote.. anyways I read this one and the last post before it and thought to myself when I got to the end, I wonder if this guy has a book...
Every time I have posted a question on this site, I get honest, kind, and great information I don't think I would find any where else. I've never joined anything online like this community, and I am so glad I decided to. With that being said, can anyone fill me in on this bottle? Also, if...
Are you serious!!! Ha ha ha ha ....I can't believe how ass backwards I am in the bottle world.... Man I hope you guys don't think I'm hopeless...i really thought that people would like that...I said in an earlier post that it was a favorite of mine and I don't think any one wanted to tell me it...
Would this be considered a slick? What kind of value does a bottle like this have? I have a few that look identical except much dirtier...and what is a hutch?
I think instead of taking big blurry pics I'll just do one at a time...did you see the listerine bottle close ups? If so, I'd like to know what you think of it, and what you know about it...I value your opinion, and hope I don't bother you too much...this is all new to me, I never knew there...
Does anything stand out to anyone or should I take individual pics of each one...after a few conversations with some knowledgeable people on this site, I decided to seperate the embossed from the "slicks" ( I learned what a slick was yesterday) and what is pictured here is a small sample of what...
If you click on my name and look at my recent activity you will see a picture of a group of embossed bottles I have...I was curious if any stand out to you... for some reason my phone won't let me post pictures to anyone else after I sent my last reply
Here are a few I just seperated ...these all are embossed...anything stand out? Or should I take individual pics of every one from top to bottom? The listerine is my favorite
Awesome, thanks for letting me know that...when I say "find" I mean I found it amongst all the other bottles I'm going through...I learned what a slick was finally and I'm seperating all the bottles I have that have no embossing and no labels with a disappearing seam line from the slicks with a...
Well I do have a bunch of embossed bottles...I'll seperate them and take some pictures...I just came across one with an owl on it and on the other side it say "the owl drug co" and those letters are embossed...I really appreciate that info because most people are afraid to hurt feelings and say...
