    There are only 2 molds he used for 1852 when he opened and they didnt have dates. Russ 104 and 108. He changed to the Russ 152 ginger ale design in spring of 1871. Any of his bottles dated 1852 are just excelsior establishment year. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

    That mold dates to around 1854, where it is pontiled. I believe union glassworks used the same mold and modified it with the date appearing to be pontiled. If you look closely at the block letter "J" there is a ghost embossing that appears to be the same as Russ 10-106, blob undated version...
