    Who made this case gin?

Hmm, I guess it was van Dusseldorf. I guess the P was just an engraving error. Excellent job Canadian for finding this out.

    Backyard bottle hunter

Welcome to the forum. If you get questions, just ask! All questions are good questions, especially if you are new. There's a lot of ins and outs to collecting bottles, a lot to know. Keep at it and you'll find something good eventually. Took me three years to find a whole bottle, before that I...

    Who made this case gin?

Wow, this is a tough one to research. Rotterdam is in the Netherlands so it is certainly a Dutch gin bottle. However, I could find no info on an A. Van Dusseldorp(?) CG. Weird that it's "Dusseldorp" instead of "Dusseldorf". Maybe it's Dusseldor PCG? Either way, that gin has a beautiful applied...

I cannot figure out what kind of soda pop bottle this is. Can someone please help me? It looks like it’s in English and another language also.

Tried looking at the bottle again and I think I found the company. I think the bottle says "Tabori". The bottle is from Israel and it is in Hebrew but the main logo is in a cursive script. Also, a reminder that Hebrew is read from RIGHT-to-LEFT. https://www.jafora.co.il/en/history/...

    Unknown Soda

Unfortunately I haven't figured out a good tool to use to finish the inside yet but I am able to do the top and outer lip excellently. Best of luck.

    Unknown Soda

Quick tip on making a cup. Use 500 grit aluminum oxide sand paper. Make sure to lubricate with water. You can get a very nice shine out of your lips. I use a rotary sander and just a quick 15 minute finish works spectacularly.

    Curious about these jars.

I agree with Canadian's opinion. They are just generic. Sometimes the glass manufacturers mark is not on the base but on the heel.

Bayer Aspirin bottle or something else?

Hmm, I don't recognize the mark either. It is definitely machine made but due to the crudity, it's probably about a hundred years old if not older. Did you dig it up? Where there's one bottle, there usually are more.

    Help! Figural Cold Cream Container

Yeah, usually they come up blank. At times they have paneling or art deco designs but they very rarely have picture.

    Crazy morning.

Nice mix of ACL bottles from between 1940 and about 1960. Most of those embossed screw tops ain't worth much but still pretty cool. Some acls though are worth a pretty penny. Don't scrub the paint all too much be gentle!

    Help! Figural Cold Cream Container

I bought this pot last week in a decent sized collection. A good mix of rarities and basic bottles. I feel like I've seen one of these before but I can't remember where. It's machine made with a bakelite screw lid. Not a ground lip so it is definitely 1915-1950 I suppose but, I'd like a...

    Portholes From a Shipwreck

Man you ever seen the hovercraft history hunters on YouTube (SiFinds YT). Too bad those crafts weren't cheaper. I know there's also mud shoes (I don't exactly remember what they're called) but they act like snow shoes, it prevents you from sinking into the mud by evening out your weight.

What have they done to you Johnston?!

I love these bottles with misspellings. Down here in Hawaii, a large immigrant population paired with the majority of the population speaking Pidgin English, we have a good few misspelled bottles. Oftentimes the misspellings were on purpose because that's how the words were pronounced. Wonder...

Harmony of Boston Sun Bottle (once clear but purple when found).

Harmony of Boston was a perfume company. They were a long lived company and used many different types of bottles. Usually they come in tiny little bottles. I've never seen this type of bottle before and to see it in desert purple is super cool. It's pre-1915 as the Manganese glass used to make...

    Purex and eagle

Purex has a 1960 date code and was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. The Eagle has no telltale marks but if it was found next to the purex, I would imagine it's around the same age
