Hello everyone, long time no talk. I recently acquired this bottle. I've been looking at it for about a year now and finally bought it. The antique shop owner told me his wife got the bottle from a deceased uncle in West Virginia about 30 years ago. Needless to say he forgot they had it in...
I'd say you have the same one, do you have the top?/and or picture.
Thanks for trying on the milks. Not a good one to begin with. I'll get them as clean as I can and re-take later. Thanks, Christine.
And all the others. I plan to go again on Saturday, if our weather holds out. Hopefully my husband will bring more home tonight. We are getting hit today with a snow storm. As always, in my quest for more knowledge on bottles, all your help is appreciated. Christine
These all have some marks, some I am familiar with others not.
Shinola,The J.R.Watkins Co., Parker,Sheaffers Skrip,Chas.H.Fletcher/Castoria,Chili Powder/Cebhard Eagle(I think). Then theres Hinds, Buffalo, NY, Sloans Liniment, and Owens.
The blue only have 4,6,8 on bottom
Milk glass, on bottom "MUSTEROLE,CLEVELAND", and the other has a partial pink label
The amber are "Lysol" and "ROCHE" on bottom
The last is interesting to me. My first like it, "Ed Pinaud, Paris" but the botton says"bottle property of Pinaud inc, New York...
What is this? The copper top was intact until I tried to remove it. It wasn't screwed onto the top, it was pressure fit, push on. It only says "BOUR JOIS" on the bottom.
Who likes the Ohio milks? here are a couple. Christine.
