I have a blob beer which has some kind of jelly or grease inside. At first I figured it might be old content, but when I tried to clean it out, it was sticky and gooey like molasses. Have any of you ran into this before and what did you use to get it out? RC
Tried to send a you a pm, but it says for some reason you are not accepting pm's. Don't know if you got my messages earlier. I sold you some NH blob beers on Ebay last year. I live in Midlothian TX. If you have any common Tx hutch doubles, I still have some NH blobs I will trade. I will be in...
I usually try and help people find bottles in their area. The 2 users I need to really speak to I suppose no longer receive private messages. Maybe just a glitch or something. Any how, this is for hemihampton. I really hope you bought some of those killer bottles at that Trenton, Michigan estate...
Back in 2005, I posted a few digs called Honey Hole under the name BOTLDGR03. With all the older dumps petering out, I decided to give it another try. I sift all my dirt, so for you bottles only this post may not interest you as much. The ivy was terrible, mosquitoes whining, and the temps were...
Hello all and Happy Boo Day!!! Got to dig for a few hours and brought home a few goodies, but nothing spectacular. The crier of the day was a 7 1/2" tall amber medicine embossed on one side / Maslico Medicine Company Dansville, Ills. and the other side / Gladstone's Celery Compound and Pepsin...
Went to Houston yesterday to deliver some cabinets and when I was done, I stopped in at an antique mall to do some browsing. I found a booth that had some seltzer bottles. There were 2 from Paterson, NJ. One was peacock blue etched with SERVICE BEV. CO. the other was D. NOTKIN &...
My wife really didn't want me to take the camera today, but I assured her I would be careful with it. Boy was I wrong. I dropped the darn thing and cracked the view screen. Now you can't view anything. She is going to let me have it when I tell her what happened. Oh well, stuff happens. So I...
When I'm not looking for bottles, these are what I hunt for. I have several thousand. The two dinosaur verts were found recently. Robert

With two of my kiddos in high school keeping me busy, and the temps up, I haven't had much time to dig. The temps are finally down, got off work early today and decided to open my hole back up. After digging for an hour, I finally got some of the dump exposed and remembered why I quit. I hit a...
Here are the majority of the medicine bottles I have found at the dump. The first three are the cures.
HALL'S CATARRH CURE
DR. KILMER'S SWAMP ROOT CURE

Here are the free samples so far. The first two pics are of a bottle I have never dug before. They are a sample bottle for DR. THACHER'S LIVER AND BLOOD SYRUP CHATTANOOGA. I have dug four so far with one being a nice yellow amber...
I know these are common, but it is good to finally dig some blown in mold Bromos. Most of the Bromo's we dig are ABM. No teal ones yet.

Here are the sodas so far. Six hutches and five blown in mold crown tops. I busted the best soda which was a Dr. Pepper thief bottle from Waco that had Monterrey embossed on the heel. Probably a $300 soda. Hopefully there is another one in there. The hutch on the right, I cleaned up and put on...
These are the inks that I have dug so far in my dump. Of course the good front embossed squares, cylinders, and cones have all been damaged. The ink on the far right has four pen rests. It is lightly embossed Chicago on the base, but I can't make out the company. The others are Carters and...
Here are some of the drugstores I have been finding in my new dump. The first bottle is from a year ago at another older thin layer of trash. You have to dig two or three feet, just to get to a single layer of trash. Dates 1870's to 1880's. The bottle is embossed w/ monogram / J.S. HERRING /...
After getting no response after a week on the Memphis diggers website, I figure I will post this one on here and see what I can find out. This bottle is an antique mall find. It is embossed Stillman & Breen, a circle sort of like a bullseye in the middle, Memphis, Tenn. I checked every repro...
Can anyone explain why these marbles sold for $1724. I must be missing something. Looks like 20 clays, 2 benningtons, and 2 beat up swirls. ??? I don't know how to make a direct link, but the auction item # is 330443914852. If someone could make it a direct link I would appreciate it. Robert
Because marbles were a hot topic for a while, I just wanted to share some of mine. Sifting is a great way to find the smalls in any dump. Marbles, coins, tokens, watch fobs, doll parts, etc. A lot of mine have come from creeks, dozed house lots, and farm fields. Here are my German swirls...
